Hello! My name is Sea Gira

I’m a 20 year old Thai-American film writer, director, and producer born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, currently based in Los Angeles, California, as a I pursue a BFA in Film and Television Production at the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts.

As I explore my voice as a creative, one thing has always remained clear, and it’s my innate drive and self-determined purpose to inspire societal change, touch and transform individuals, and be a visionary at the largest scale possible.

I am passionate about telling character-driven, poignant stories that explore the intense emotions of the human experience. I love depicting the relationships that form people, trying to expose the parts of our subconscious and higher conscious that often go unnoticed, and stimulating both introspection and social conversation. As a Thai-American creative, I am a serious advocate for AAPI media representation and I am not shy about letting my lens on race and cultural heritage drive the intention of a story. My greatest intention as an artist is a balance of portraying raw and vulnerable material as a statement of reality while avoiding cliche and striving for originality.

Outside of narrative film drama, I also have an interest in more abstract, concept-driven video in music, dance, and editorial media.
